How do I get a Samsung Galaxy Note Edge (SM-N915G) from Singapore working on Verizon Wireless USA?

Good Day,

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note Edge (SM-N915G) from SingTel in Singapore and I'm trying to get it to work with my Verizon Wireless Sim card in the USA. The phone accepts the sim card and shows signal strength but when I tried to use it I received a message that the device wasn't registered on the Verizon network. How can I fix this so the phone will work with my Verizon account?
